Course Description

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belts work to improve quality and reduce defects in organizational processes. It is the first step in Lean Six Sigma and requires a basic knowledge of Six Sigma and the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) process. In this course, students learn the DMAIC process while learning the tools necessary to perform at the Yellow Belt level on a project team. This course covers the basic strategies and tools needed for process improvement and the body of knowledge for the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.
